When adding a new Administrator or modifying Administrator details in OneSite Patch, add a Teams Webhook URL to post notices to a Teams channel. Administrators can check the Teams channel for patch notifications and take the necessary action.

Refer to the following instructions to create a Team and a Channel:

Go to Create a channel (Microsoft) to set up a new channel in an existing Team in Microsoft Teams, or create a new Team and add a channel for patch notification purposes.

Go to Create an Incoming Webhook (Microsoft) to create the Webhook URL.

Open the Admin Portal, and then navigate to Settings > Security > Administrators.

Open an existing Administrator or select +NEW to create a new Administrator on the All Administrators dialog.

Scroll down to Teams Webhook URL under User Details, and then copy and paste the URL you generated in Step 1b into the Teams Webhook URL field.

Once done, select Save to add the Teams Webhook URL.
