Adaptiva OneSite Patch allows for specific customization settings to be applied during the patch installation. When metadata changes for a third-party product, this may require a change to existing Customized Product settings. On February 7, 2025, the installation options for Zoom Workspace changed to allow the selection of both forced settings and allowed to change settings. This change requires the Adaptiva Administrators to update the customization settings they previously applied in the Customized Product for Zoom Workspace. For more information about Customized Products, see Customized Products – Adaptiva Support Portal.
Zoom Workplace provides the option to configure specific settings at the time of installation. These options can be set and made read-only or can be set and open for the user to change. Previously, the settings provided when selected were set and read-only.
If your organization set up a Customized Product for Zoom Workplace, it is recommended to update the settings before the next Patch release. If these settings are not updated, the Zoom Workplace update will only apply the default settings, and will not apply your customizations.
Apply these Customized Product settings one of the following ways:
-
To prevent user customization, select these options under the sections with User customizations disabled. These settings use the
zConfig
installation option. -
To allow user customization, select these options under the sections with User customizations enabled. These settings use the
zRecommend
installation option. For more information about option prioritization, see Mass-deploying with preconfigured settings for Windows (Zoom Support).
