Symptoms
The Adaptiva OneSite Platform 10.0.971 release has received an update to address several issues. For more information on the latest releases, visit Product Releases – Adaptiva Support Portal.
If you are experiencing any of the issues listed below, please update to the 10.0.971.26 hotfix by following the instructions in the Solution section below.
Issues in 10.0.971.24
Server
Patch Only
- When approvals are targeted to devices that do not have products included in the approval request, this can cause your Flex Control Cycle dashboards to show a percentage higher than 100%.
Intune Edition
- Intune content includes the CDN token to secure content download requests. The token expiration time has been extended to reduce content download failures.
OneSite WakeUp
- Issue where Green Planet perspective does not appear in the Workbench Perspective view.
SaaS Only
- Memory spikes that may cause HTTP client messaging to shut down and cause internet client communication issues.
Client
Patch Only
- Sparse Files:
- Corrupted Sparse Files from disk space issues causes Sparse File system to manage the Adaptiva cache.
- Sparse File system will reload the in-memory state if consistency issues are discovered.
- Byte Range download task logging incorrect task ID.
- Parsing deployed object version from system config for objects with similar IDs.
Please reach out to our Support Team to clean up all Sparse Files from the environment if you are still seeing Windows 11 patching failures.
- Content Prestaging failures for WSUS sourced patch content.
Intune Edition
- Clients failing to download Intune Content initially.
UI
Tenable only
- Updated TPM product naming to refer to all editions of TPM as Patch Management without specifying Enterprise or Express
- Updated handling for Tenable.Vpr filters
- Patching Strategy, Deployment Bot, and Notification Bot UI check if the patch filter contains Tenable.Vpr and will prompt the user to use Tenable.VprInteger instead.
- Disabled the Tenable.Vpr option in the list of filterable columns.
Patch Only
- Updated Patch Filter UI to show a dropdown for true and false values for all Boolean fields.
ConfigMgr Edition
- Content publication not available in CAS environment.
Issues in 10.0.971.15
Server
Patch Only
- Patch License (OneSite Patch Enterprise, Express or with an integration) is targeted to a group or collection other than All Clients and then changed to a different collection or group, the changes are not applied. For more information please see Known Issue: Policy Errors when Group IDs Do Not Match.
- Compliance Percent calculation was incorrect.

Selecting Edit from the ellipses of a new version of a strategy does not render the How to Patch pane. However, it properly displays when viewing a strategy by clicking the name of the strategy from the table.
- Custom User Interaction Settings that were previously deployed then upgraded to a later version of 10.0.971 (10.0.971.9, 10.0.971.12, 10.0.971.15) will now be undeployed.

Blind Spots widget error due to Administrators in Approving Roles with missing First or Last Names. This may occur if Administrators are imported using the CrowdStrike integration.
Platform
- Server upgrade fails when upgrading to a later version from 10.0.971.
- Missing ReferenceIDs in child Business Units.
- Older Windows OS Business Units may be deleted.
- No Office client counts do not match between Admin Portal vs. Workbench.
Clients
Platform
- Adaptiva client will not install on DHCP servers or other devices where port 67 is exclusively bound.
- Client upgrade failures.
Patch Only
- Issues with Windows OS patching with OneSite Patch.
- Issues with macOS clients when used in conjunction with Jamf agents. For more information, please see Issue: Installing Adaptiva SaaS clients on macOS devices with Jamf agent.
Issues in 10.0.971.12
Server
Tenable only
- Access Settings now allows selection of FedRAMP cloud endpoints.
- Assets with the Nessus agent were not being properly connected to the Adaptiva client id when using the device’s NETBIOS name.
Patch only
- The home page overview card takes an excessive amount of time to display. You may also experience high CPU usage on the SQL Server.
- The reboot pending status on the patching per-device dashboard is not correct.
SaaS only
- Prevent high memory situation on the cloud-based tenant when there are a high number of blocklist edits in a short timeframe. This results in slower Admin Portal response and may impact policy dispatch.
On-prem only
- An SQL exception is thrown when purging approval requests older than 90 days.

Workflows
- Workflows fail to load when deleting a custom workflow activity that was included in that workflow.
Clients
Patch only
- Devices that are configured as Restricted-Prohibited will no longer volunteer for byte-range downloads. This is important for VDI environments that have been configured as Restricted-Prohibited.
- New Client Setting is available to control additional sources to create for byte range downloads.
Brp2p.minimum_viable_volunteer_countDefault is 3. If set to 0, no additional volunteers will be requested. - Interfering process timing calculation was incorrectly using the reboot window schedule instead of the maintenance window schedule.
macOS client only
- The Zscaler IP address was being selected as the client IP address.
Admin Portal
- Custom Workflow Activity property modification is not allowing multiple properties or to remove custom properties.
- A configuration error is displayed when saving a data provider that is referenced in a dashboard.
Patch Express only
- New Business Unit side-nav option under Asset Management.
Solution
Complete the following steps to resolve the above issues:
- Download the latest 10.0.971.26 build from here.
- Send email or create a ticket on the support portal to request the password from Adaptiva Support.
- Unzip the file on the Adaptiva Server.
- Run adaptiva-server-10.0.971.26-windows.exe.
- Select Quick Upgrade.
- All client devices will be upgraded based on the settings in the Client Upgrade page.
